Xd testing

Adobe Experience Design CC (Xd) is a very interesting program that I am excited to see what they continue to do with it. While I can create boards in photoshop on how I want my website to look, I have to create different files for each page. If I were to place them in one, that would be too huge. Plus, I don’t have to redo the entire thing as well. I can just place all my items in a board. Unlike in photoshop, each page can be in one file and you are encouraged to do so. What is so need about Xd is that I can link where each page will go and simulate how the website will look. You can see the lines that show how each connect. It helps me to plan how I need to set up my site on Dreamweaver.

What I wish they had was an opportunity to see how the site can be responsive, especially when it comes to dropdown menus and galleries sliding back and forth. I like how you can determine how the pages transitions but it’s not as important to me as how the site can move back and forth on each other.

While there are a few bugs and needs to improve, Xd is really a nice addition to Adobe and one that keeps up with the ongoing growth of the web.
